Nathan Welton

Nathan Welton is a CHL alumni defenceman from Cole Harbour, NS, who played three seasons with the Moncton Wildcats and two seasons with the Quebec Remparts of the QMJHL. He was named to the QMJHL All-Rookie Team in 03-04 and amassed 185 points in 269 games over his four year career. He won the President's Cup with the Moncton Wildcats as playoff champions in 05-06 and finished runner-up in the 2006 Memorial Cup final.
Following his Major Junior career, Nathan had a stint in the Central Hockey League with the Laredo Bucks where they finished runner-up to the Colorado Eagles for the Ray Miron Cup.
From 2007-2011, Nathan played U Sports Hockey for the Acadia Axemen where he tallied 48 points in 102 games over four seasons, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology & Exercise Science. Following graduation, he was the Dryland Training Coach for Valley U15 AAA in Berwick, NS, while also launching a dedicated Strength & Conditioning business in Wolfville, NS; where he worked with young hockey players during the off-season, many of whom went on to play in the QMJHL, NCAA Division 1 and Team Canada U18.
He finished his career playing Sr.A hockey in Newfoundland for the Mount Pearl Blades and Western Royals. Collecting 23 points in 35 games over two seasons.
Now as a parent, Hockey Canada Development 1 trained coach, and ISSA Certified Strength & Conditioning Coach in Kelowna, Nathan has a strong desire to support the growth of our youth hockey players, both on and off the ice.

Adam Breitkreuz

Adam Breitkreuz is a WHL and AJHL alumnus from Sicamous, BC, whose junior career included time with the Calgary Hitmen in the WHL and the Brooks Bandits in the AJHL. After two seasons between the WHL and AJHL, injuries affected his development, ultimately leading to an early end to his Major Junior path.
After recovering from multiple concussions, Adam returned to the game at age 23, competing in the ACAC with the Briercrest Clippers. He later played professionally in Germany’s Oberliga, where he transitioned to defence and continued to broaden his understanding of the game. His final season concluded following hip surgery.
Once retired from hockey, Adam earned his MBA in International Business and built a career in operations and small-business leadership. His professional background, combined with the resilience developed through hockey, influences his steady, development-focused coaching style.
Adam holds his Development 1 coaching certification and has coached U9 and U11 teams in the Kelowna Minor Hockey Association for the past three seasons. He also served as an assistant coach in the KIJHL. Known for his approachable, supportive presence behind the bench, Adam is committed to helping young players build confidence, improve their skills, and develop a strong understanding of the game while maintaining open communication with families.
